This isn't funny, but it's indicative of my grasp of the German language.

London Gangsta

In a still from the hip hop music video version of "Jamaican in New York", this is Damen rapping, "(Yo! Yo!) I'm a Maori, Chinese, Lebanese, Irish, Croatian in Londooooooon". Damen *reprezents* the new breed of urban Maori-Chinese-Lebanese-Irish-Croatians in Britain's largest city.

Shout outs to my cuzzies in Aotearoa, eh?

Fun Game! - Episode 3!

I went off FunGame for a while, but now that I'm traveling again, I think I might take it up once more. It's not a very hard game to play, and there's a possibility that it'll keep me slightly warmer, so...

Part of the reason for letting the game go was the hair that began creeping over my top lip - not cool. Also note the nice koru shape of the side-on beard. These photos document what was going to be the last installment of FunGame. After these shots I shaved, so it's back to the beginning again. Stay tuned for another thrilling episode.

Let's Play... Fun Game!

How big did,
My beard done grow.
Since last time,
You saw my beard growed?
(charting the size of my holiday beard, for scientific purposes)

Things to work on:

* Taking photos of myself AND a subject. This is me in front of St. Pauls' Cathedral. Literally in front. You can't see it.
* Being warm when it's cold.
* Find out where the sun rises and sets. At Brighton, I swear it was above the ocean at sunrise and sunset.
* Bus and tube mish mash.
* Sleep.
* Figure out how to rub an itchy nose without using my gloves or taking them off (the mohair goes up my nostrils).
* How to flick from page 30-31, to 32-33 in my map book, without taking off my gloves. The two pages just won't separate.
